Weddings

You may be aware that the laws governing who can marry in Church changed on 1st October 2008, making it much easier to qualify, and here in the Avon Valley Partnership, if you are eligible to marry at one of our Churches, then you are eligible to marry at any of them and so the choice is yours.  You may wish to visit them all, or perhaps attend a service there to get a feel for the building and how the worship works.

We can do weddings any day of the week at a time to suit both us and you, on Sundays we restrict our wedding to 2pm or 4pm and on a Saturday you can get married at 12pm, 2pm or 4pm.  Although we offer weddings at three of our churches, due to the fact that we onlyhave one incumbent, we cannot run weddings simultaneously.  Therefore if there is a wedding already booked on your preferred date, then you should be willing to re-arrange your wedding time.
